First of all, I love your layout! I appreciate that you give a clip to allow the viewer to form his or her own opinions and then you give yours. It's great for comparison! I'm not too sure how I feel about Colbert running for president, but I'm not a fan of politics in general, so maybe it's what we need. He's obviously a very intelligent guy and can represent the American public. A majority of the population probably does not identify themselves as either a republican or democrat, and if they do it's probably just because of household influence. With Colbert running as both a democrat and a republican, he's actually representing America, and isn't that what a candidate is supposed to do? With his type of popularity, just the fact that he's "running" in an election will spark election interest in the younger generation. Maybe we need a guy like Colbert to run so that we [speaking for our generation] actually care who's in office - and actually vote!
